Hawkstone Park

The gift shop and café at Hawkstone Park

Open to the public during the summer months, the Hawkstone Park sightseeing trail starts at a gift shop and café, where brochures about the Grail’s links with Hawkstone and Graham’s books are on sale. The trail continues on past eighteenth-century follies - impressive towers and other unusual monuments - until it finally winds its way up the cliff, to end at the caves where the Marian Chalice was found.

Its links with the Grail apart, Hawkstone Park is well worth a visit as the scenery is spectacular. Located in North Shropshire, between Shrewsbury and Whitchurch off the A49, Hawkstone Park is accessible from the M6 and M54. To reach it, follow the brown road signs for "Hawkstone Historic Park and Follies" to the center of the village of Weston-under-Redcastle.

Hawkstone Park’s telephone number is 01939 200611 and email address is info@hawkstone.co.uk.
